Frog, I am waiting to also trade QCOM. Right now it is too close to the depressed telecom equipment sector to get any meaninful bounce. Rightly or wrongly, it is somehow linked to the group.

Wait until quarter end, this one should start moving.
We just need to see the mutual fund quarter end--out of the way.
I actually plan to position trade QCOM, JDSU...... and many other beaten up names. As soon as there is any buy program (after month end) on the QQQs, these stocks will get into major supply/demand imbalances, imho.
The fun is just around the corner on the Nasdaq communication stocks.

In the meantime, it looks like the Microsoft types are the place to be.

Also agree with LG on the internet stocks; they bottomed out prior to this quarter and are behaving much better when the market rallies. I am doing a few long trades in this sector as well...not as much as I should have (20/20 hindsight
.....because the downside risks can be quite high for internets compared to the other technology groups.

BTW--I am repetitive on the mutual fund trading habits but feel that it could be an important key to price movements towards the end of the quarter...I actually plan to start buying several days before month end.

Here is an article on mutual funds...not on this topic but a good read. This reporter has more useful information in his reporting than most analysts, imho.
