Peter I live in Michigan and have had nothing but problems along with friends who use earthlink.Almost bought the stock but I thank God I didn't. I liked the fact of 2 mb web space but the fact that the service is so unrelaible has really got me down since I recomended it to so many friends. I am getting ready to put my business on the net and I find myself looking for a new ISP. I think that only true backbone service providers will prevale.I had same type of problems using netcom as soon as the net became popular service went to hell. Just consider the amount of money and time it takes to upgrade to 56k modems which earthlink is slow in making the upgrade.I have stuck with them because I hate switching services and I also thought they would have cleared up their problems by now but they havent.
