Speaking of "a genetic 'Droid disease, not your fault."

I thought the lead-in to that article: "Intel to consider cuts unless chip market recovers" was going to herald a story about possible layoffs. Instead it was about possible capex spending slowdown, but if it's deemed necessary when conditions are looked at about six months out. Makes sense.

Also an up to date refute of Osha the "occupational safety and health hazard to the semiconductor community". This from Barrett:

"The computer industry is relatively stable from an inventory standpoint and a sales-out standpoint. We have good insight into the inventories that our big customers have. There doesn't seem to be a stack-up," Barrett said.
