I'm beginning to sense that there are two very diverse camps on your thread - buy-write/put writers and ltb&h cc writers.

Or some of us doing both to learn the issues and see which style works best for us.

For instance, I'm considering buying shares in companies I already hold with an eye to writing ccs on the shares. As well as writing against shares I already own.

Incidentally, whereas last month was small amounts, just learning, I'm planning to increase my exposure this month. So, before I did too much, I thought it best to reread the thread. What a wonderful resource. I encourage anyone at my learning stage (something well below the resident "dummies" on the thread) to do so.
