I agree, it's a good idea to get this prompt to keep from opening suspicious links inadvertently.

I use IE 4.0 and I cannot locate where the prompt is switched on or off. It provides a check box for its suppression, but I'm reluctant to disable it from seeking permission.

Now I'll see if I can find it to enable it. (:-)
