In the CC, Bryant responded with something like "I can't imagine why our customers would be building inventory, they know that we are shipping as soon as they order". But again you are trying to read more into it, trying to invent an Intel problem (and Intel has plenty without your extra efforts). re: The reason why "the logic" may not apply is because intel is conducting pricewar against amd. AMD's entire history is a price war against Intel. Intel is just trying to sell too much stuff to a bunch of folks that don't want to buy stuff. That leads to lower prices. John
