I think there is a big push to give the Fed every opportunity to lower rates as much as possible next week. So its important to the market manipulators to be sure that there isnt any threatening signs of inflation ahead of the FOMC meeting. I dont expect the stock market or commodities to go anywhere until after the meeting.

I think the time to buy gold and silver will be closer to the Fed meeting or just after. Bonds should sell on the news whatever the Fed does imo, and metals prices are going to have a hard time going anywhere until bonds are topped out on this counter trend rally.
