i am not sure who's claiming that intc started it. the fact of the market is that amd is a smaller, less known producer which has to compete on price. i think it is rather disingenuous to claim that intc is not responding. Perhaps you weren't the one who claimed Intel is waging a price war but regardless I agree they are responding. What do you expect them to do? They are defending their market share just like anyone would do. If AMD escalates their price war no doubt Intel will respond again and AMD simply can't win this one. In the short term us share holders will continue to suffer price wise but AMD will suffer far worse. What will AMD's share price look like if they fall back into the red?
