The AMA should take a look at drownings in pools first for a little practice before venturing into constitutional matters. Once again the "10 children a day die by gunfire" statement is used with no reference to ages or circumstance. According to Bureau of Justice statistics homicide rates for children under 14 have remained at low levels over the last 25 years but levels for 15-18 have increased 150%, likely gang related.
