I don't disagree that we may see another rally soon, maybe right away. So you can certainly play NT for a bounce. But I do believe we will retest the April lows at some point when it becomes clear the recovery, especially for telecom is not until 2003.

I think Nortel will survive, although it is quite possible they could be acquired or merge during the consolidation wave that is yet to sweep the sector. Depending on when that is (and how distressed Nortel's stock is), it might not be a premium from today's prices.

I don't own any Nortel, but if I buy any, I will average into a position slowly over the coming months.
