it is so messed up, he is telling the same decision makers to continue loaning money in a market where it would seem the # of viable businesses is dwindling for various reasons we have discussed here ad nauseam, and yet those same decision makers made the poorly judged loans in the first place which have created the credit deterioration. He probably chuckles at the absurdity of the whole thing himself and how he can get away with it. I have had the same feeling when I sold $500 vacuum cleaners door to door one summer (when $500 could actually buy something), they're a lot easier to sell than you think and the whole time you are wondering what the hell the person buying it is thinking.
