I tend to go a shorter horizon than you I think at times.
For example, this particular trade is risky for me because of the rumor so I will bail on this sucker today. So far working out okay but a long way to go before the end of the day.

I know that you key off the SPX for many trades and it can make it a safer trade to do it that way
