I thought BGEN and Amevive believers would possibly hedge their bet by selling 5% of their positions to buy XOMA. Guess that was wishful thinking. <g>

I do think that, if the drop is not based on bad news, todays market action will simply prove that the other side know how to play much more effectively, than XOMA management. To some extent that's good since I don't want management trying to do things just to move the price of the stock.

Also XOMA does not have control over the Xanelim announcements. Would have been a much better message to say, at the present time, "We intend to file a BLA, sometime around the end of the year but the exact timing of such a filing can not be determined at this date. As with any future event, one should keep in mind that no absolute assurance that it will take place can be provided.
