WHY WOULD CSGI SAY THEY HAVE A FULLY AUTOMATED SOLUTION ?
BECAUSE IT IS
Hansen I can't even believe that you would make such a remark on this thread. You would do everyone a great favor by actually reading the posts on this thread before you open you mouth and make such a stupid, and uninformed post. I feel sorry for the people who may listen to your ranting when it is clear that you have NO IDEA what in the hell you are talking about.
CSGI IS THE ONLY COMPANY THAT HAS A 100% Fully AUTOMATED conversion. THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT!!!!
Where have you been the last year? Are you as truly ignorant on this subject as your posts indicate you are? What in the hell do you think the Millenium project is ? Why do you think that we are all waiting for these test results ?
If you had bothered to read the posts on this thread you would of not asked such a question. I posted this about a week ago. {http://www.exchange2000.com/~wsapi/investor/s-11450/reply-700 }
In the above post you will find that I laid out the steps of the solution process and what is and what is not AUTOMATED.
Now for the Second time, since you obviously weren't paying attention the first time.
==================================================================== CSGI is a conversion house. Upfront work and Testing are left up to the alliance partners.
NO ONE SAYS THAT THE ENTIRE Y2K PROCESS IS AUTOMATED. THAT IS LUDICROUS.
When CSGI, ALYD and other companies say they have an automated solution, they are talking about the Conversion / Correction phase.
1. Identification = Use of automated search engines to find the lines of code that need to be made Y2K compliant. CSGI, KEA, VIAS, ALYD, IAIC, and others have such tools to find the date occurrences AUTOMATICALLY.
2. Confirmation = This step involves confirming that what the search engine has found is actual date code that needs to be converted. HUMAN LABOR NEEDED. This step is the most time consuming. NO ONE has automated this step.
3. Correction = This is where CSGI differs from all other Y2K conversion companies. Companies such as ALYD only can correct approx. 80% to 90% of the code automatically. They must hire mass programmers to address the other 10% to 20% left over. Also, keep in mind that they have to use approx. 30% to 40% of their resources to address that 10% to 20% of the conversion where their toolset falls short.
CSGI is the only company that can do steps # 1 & 3 of the Conversion / Correction process, 100% Fully AUTOMATED
That is what is menu by Fully Automated
So you see Hansen, CSGI is the ONLY company using the term Fully Automated correctly.
If there is any misrepresentation, it is by companies that claim to have a automated solution, while the real truth is that they can only automate 80% to 90% of the correction process.
In fact, CSGI is the only one being honest about what they have and what it can really do.
=====================================================================
Now to your second comment about their toolset being unproven and why they went public.
Hansen, who in the hell are you to say when a company goes public or not? Was ALYD proven, was IAIC proven, was ZITL, was VIAS, or KEA proven ? Your comments border on childish. Don't you have anything better to criticize than why they went public ? geez, you must be running down on you list of reasons to attack CSGI.
CSGI's offering was around $4.00 and looking at the price and progress from that time, I would consider it a successful offering.
The only thing that looks AMATEURISH is your attempts to post untrue and misleading information on this thread.
Next time why don't you read this thread before you post such stupid and untrue remarks.
I truly believed that you did understand some of the issues regarding automated solutions and what was meant by the term. I also thought you had decided to participate in a factual and meaningful exchange of views, but when I a post that contains as much B.S. as to criticize when a company decided to go public, or to say that CSGI is misrepresenting the truth, when the fact is that they are the ONLY ones telling the truth, THE GLOVES COME OFF. |
