Ping, while it is always good news when an insider buys, don't assume that "something is up". In fact, you should assume the opposite. Insiders are not allowed to trade the company's stock when they are aware of pending material developments not known to the public. Indeed, it can be quite difficult for insiders to find a "window" in which they can legally trade.
