Several weeks ago, I posted:
- that in spite of significantly tightened schedules, many airlines are flying with far too many empty seats.
- that Boeing had aircraft on the tarmac "in paint" (ready for delivery to a specific company) and nowhere to go (cancelled/delayed deliveries).

Boeing is working diligently to "broaden out" into other lines, but it isn't going to help in the near term. The airline industry is facing into the same stiff head winds as every other company out there, hence Boeing's order backlog is deteriorating.

Best, Earlie
