Ray T., How many companies are getting upgrades to strong buy from any firms? Only one so far on my screen...this one.

2:19PM EMCORE (EMKR) 26.37 +3.52 (+15.4%): Sources at Wit SoundView telling us that the firm is upgrading to STRONG BUY from Buy with a $55 target; says wafer business is going well with Motorola (MOT); optics, which is focused on metro, also doing well; and share gains are insulating them from turbulence in the handset business. Raising FY02 estimate to $0.57 from $0.54.
