Hi Jurgis...

Point taken "holier than thou". Just grinds me when folks say "what you do doesn't work"... well... it works for me and I am offering the only proof I know. My irritation is obvious I suppose.

As to Buffet buying and selling? He buys and sells. The tech phenomenon last year was an alignment of many stocks all showing over-pricedness. You are following Mr. Buffet and yet when he says "stay away from tech" you do not?

Seems like you follow in footsteps yes. But perhaps different boots on a different path. Caution of invoking dogma.

How do you "value" a specific company? Does this valuation include coming up with a target entry price and a target exit price? Do you include opportunity cost or compare this value against a small universe of alternatives?

I am honestly curious. Because I do not see how one can adequately "value" a company in isolation. Kind of like weighing something with only one end of a balance beam.

John.
