TIBX ($16 down$14) third-quarter outlook lower than Street's

In Palo Alto story headlined "Tibco's third-quarter outlook
lower than Street's", please read in paragraph 3 "wraps up
August 31" ... instead of "wraps up June 29" (Corrects
end-of-quarter date).
A corrected version follows.

PALO ALTO, Calif., June 21 (Reuters) - Systems integration
software maker Tibco Software Inc. <TIBX.O> said Thursday it
expects third-quarter revenues to be flat compared with the
prior quarter -- lower than analysts' current consensus
forecast.
Tibco's third-quarter revenues should be comparable with
second-quarter sales of $83.7 million, Christopher O'Meara,
Tibco's interim chief financial officer, said during a
conference call with analysts.
Analysts polled by Thomson Financial/First Call currently
expect Tibco to post revenue of $86.75 million and earnings of
5 cents a share in the current third quarter, which wraps up
August 31.
Due to the tough economic climate, O'Meara said, "we will
wait until the autumn to give guidance for Q4."
Palo Alto, California-based Tibco Thursday reported a
second-quarter net loss, including a $12.6 million
restructuring charge, of 9 cents a share on revenue that rose
55 percent compared with last year.
