Don't try that with a German Shepard. We have a 16 month old male and he has one heck of a set of chompers. His puppy teeth were like daggers. When he started loosing them I figured it would take a while for the big ones to come in. Not so. They erupt from under the gums more than grow like you would expect. A bloody mess it was. One heck of a dog though. Probably the only breed we will ever own (although we love our 15 year old mutt, Buster).
