It is sexual assault by any reasonable standard. Keeping in mind the victim was less than 2 years older than the Bush twins who are too young to be served alcohol. It is not a fair contest. While Ms. Lewinsky should have known not to put herself in the circumstances, there is NO WAY she could have envisioned what happened. It was totally reasonable for her to assume that the President of the United States would not sexually assault her. Of course, she didn't know Clinton & his history. Interestingly, after it was all over, even SHE didn't realize what had happened.

First, let me say I don't condone what Clinton did. He was president and I think should have been at a minimum more discreet. And he probably did know that the fact he was president made him very attractive to women.

But that's not uncommon..some guys use their hot cars, others their profession, still others their status in society. Women do it as well. So why is this surprising to you?

As for Lewinsky, she is no innocent; however, I don't think she knew how it would come down; that it would become a public spectacle. For that reason, I suspect she regrets what happened.
