On insider sales....

I was looking at insider sales for NTAP. For the Mendoza's. There are many more shares filed for intent to sell than have been reported as sold. The last sale reported on form 4 that took place was on 3/21. That appears to have accounted for all form 144 filings before that date. Now there have been another 700k shares filed under form 144 shortly after 3/21. And their sale is not yet accounted for.

1) The Mendoza's are definitely selling. Why?

2) Even though they don't have to sell just because they filed a form 144. The filings they made expire before the end of this month.

3) They may have sold already this month. This afternoon sure looked like it could have been the majority of the remaining shares.

4) A few "amended" reports of intent to sell. With the way NTAP's share price has been. It could mean they are looking for a certain amount of money to raise.

5) If any selling occured before the first of this month; we would have received a form 4 by the tenth of this month.

Their selling looks bad. But how it appears the selling is taking place doesn't look bad. It appears to me that they have been holding on hoping for higher prices. Either way, they surely aren't "dumping" shares.
