cc Rogers - Thanks for the kudos. I find that one must stocks quite closely to beat the market. Besides other sources, I've found that a lot of the stuff on the SI thread is very useful and keeps me one step ahead of the herd.

Also, I have also had bad experiences with NAIC stock analysis methods when it comes to tech stocks. I kept getting in too early on downslides. I still use NAIC SSG for analysis but throw out the zoning criteria and use PSR analysis instead. SSG doesn't work well on volitile stocks simply because everything is based upon a nice straight trend line. Earnings and Revenues can deviate some but the zoning really falls apart if there is too much deviation.

As an engineer, consultant, and entrepreneur, I'd say PR is nearly everything! Having read a lot of Lynch and Fisher and seeing what companies succeed and which do not, it seems like the best marketeers usually win. I think it's pretty clear that SGI has a solid technology advantage over their competitors at this point but as I have stated many times in the past year on this thread, the challenge for SGI is going to be marketing. If they market the O2000 correctly, the can really take server market share away from SUNW and HWP.
