Ameritrader 6/20/01,44.26% 6/21/01,45.24% VIX closed today at 21.9 and VXN at 52. Both just slightly above 12-month lows. Not the slightest sign of fear in these numbers. Indeed they are at levels normally associated with market peaks -- not troughs.
