”We got it right this time!”

Intraday Investments Trading Summary for Thursday, June 21, 2001

We had the right idea to play the bounce in the Networkers on Wednesday, but were just one day early. However, after significant losses on Wednesday, we nailed the reversal in the Networkers today and most of our members recovered their losses from the previous day.

Our overnight trades from Wednesday worked out well for us, netting a realized profit of more than a point with the following: PMCS long – 0.18, IDTI long + 1.00 (took half overnight again), SCMR + 0.45 (took half overnight again), NVDA (still holding short)

Our intraday trades today consisted of: PMCS long + 1.00 (holding half overnight into Friday), GLW long + 0.84 (holding half overnight, stalk play), JDSU long + 0.55 (took half overnight), QLGC short + 0.45, AMCC long + 0.47 (took half overnight), RIMM long + 0.53 (stalk play), INTC long + 0.48 (stalk play), GILD short – 0.40, TXN long – 0.22 (stalk play), JNPR long – 0.20 (took half overnight)

Overall, a solid day in which our trades were managed well. We expect follow-through momentum in the Networking sector into Friday, which is why we took several of the Networkers overnight into Friday.
