Aus, we've seen this kind of stuff from Lexar many times before. The only thing that's clear is that Lexar doesn't THINK it or its licensees are infringing any SNDK patents. Maybe so, maybe not. Let's suppose it's true. The question then becomes, how many units can they sell? The answer depends on the price per unit and the comparison with similar units made by SanDisk or Toshiba. With Toshiba's .16 and .13 micron technology, I think it's going to be difficult for others to compete, even if the design of the product is more efficient than compact flash or MMC. Just my guess, but I think there's more hype here than real nuts and bolts. Art
