This time of year they are about finished and are being replaced by F-16 size mosquito's and they are darn near as dangerous.
From the Timmins area myself ( years ago ) Have some mining property there, gold property so that's part of the reason I am involved with gold.
Black flies will return for a brief period near fall time
so if you missed the spring ones you may still be able to get in on the late summer ones.
