Paul. LOILY gets a great buyout deal from TLM

Couldn't have written a better asset buy out myself! Below is the reason I'm going to continue to hold.

"- Lundin Oil's assets in Sudan, Russia and Somalia will not be acquired by Talisman and will instead be spun off into a new company to be called Lundin Petroleum AB. These assets have been attributed a minimum book value of US$60 million. In addition to the cash received from Talisman, shareholders of Lundin Oil will receive shares of this new company on a one-for-one basis."

I luv it!

We get a nice pile of cash for the perpherial assets AND keep the jewel - the Sudan blocks - which IS the "company maker".
