David and Rinks,

Lily pond project is not dead, but it's not moving forward. It's impossible to build such a comprehensive model from articles and abstracts gathered here and there. I've been trying to obtain access to the major research databases, and this is why there has been no progress. I have a couple options left, but if they fail, I'm not sure if the lily pond idea can be seen through.

In response to you Dave, I agree that the research houses are often way off. However, they're basically all we have to go on. On an individual market by market basis, I think one can profit tremendously from distinguishing their group think from a likely reality. But in a public model dealing with many markets, it's best that we stick with the numbers that are out there and let individuals decide on what points it might err.

Also...if anyone reading this happens to have access to, or think they might be able to obtain access to, the major research houses' databases, please PM me.

Brian
