Dial-Up Networking 1.4 Upgrade...

I installed this upgrade a week or so ago. It seems to work OK.

After installing it, I clicked Control Panel / Network and discovered my Dial-up and TCP were duplicated. I removed the originals and left the duplicates and re-booted. Re-checking Control Panel / Network revealed that my system has returned to having one of each entry. Things seem to work OK.

It appears that the final step in installing this upgrade is to remove the original. Recent posts suggest that removing originals first is superior in most cases. I don't know if this applies in this case. (I'd hate to lose settings.)

Cheers, PW
