NYSE short interest rises to record level in June Just one of the many factors that are going to be in play if investors expect a mild recovery. If not, this could prevent the downside many may be fearing....provides the additional support in addition to the rate cuts. Rising markets can also lead to faster recoveries in technology markets.(sentiment, investor and consumer). These are the kinds of factors that play into my trading decisions and optimism for the markets..especially the Nasdaq. That data should be out soon too. Expecting the Nasdaq short interest to increase as well....already high and possibly hitting a new record. biz.yahoo.com
