Deron, Steve or Ed (or anyone else), I read recently that one can 'buy naked options' in an IRA account; that naked options do not require margin; and that the government does not prohibit this (the opposite of what, apparently, many/most people like myself believe), it is the brokers choice.

Does anyone know, definitively, the actual story on these three issues/questions? Will appreciate a response(s).
