It might seem that the most appropriate way to bury the issue would be to bury GRNO. To that end, the SEC would hardly announce any innocuous settlement before the resolution of the dispute with G&S. If any settlement exists, the lack of any announcement by the SEC of a settlement with the Carraways seems to indicate they are still aligned in a way that the GRNO side has alleged. On the other hand, if the Carraways have not been shown to have acted in a fraudulent manner but Judge Duffy thinks an element of fraud exists in this case, then the advice and counsel that had been provided by G&S, who held GRNO stock, might indicate a level of danger to the G&S side.

If the plant has been operating lately, and if the local jury pool is aware of that, then it might behoove G&S to think about settling while they can. How is that for cynicism?

I see the spread at this moment is 0.07 X 0.50 which indicates to me an element of confusion on the part of the MMs.
