The article is a treatise on what I have long believed. I think it would be in our best interests as Infospace shareholders to actively discourage anyone from serving as plaintiffs in these class action lawsuits. The absurdist circular logic of derivative suits, as discussed in the passage you quote, demonstrates what a scam these lawsuits truly are. In effect, the plaintiffs lawyers are able to create billing fees at will out of thin air to be forced upon the shareholders they purport to be helping for no value in return. Shame on any judge that approves the lawyers expense recovery by allowing them to bill the company and thus the interests of those they purport to be protecting without invitation. These class action lawsuits are a grotesque perversion of our legal system and the lawyers behind them true parasites who are best dealt with as one would a tick--with a hot flame.
