Wonder if Paul read the post? Very interesting and probably fairly accurate perspective. Particularly sobering for INTC investors is the following paragraph:

"Intel's cash burn is obviously a real problem if the economy does not improve. Since AMD is apparently
going to be earnings positive and cash flow positive for this quarter, they could play the "price war"
game with Intel indefinitely and not lose if the situation remains the same. They could apparently even
save up enough cash to buy a new fab in a few years out of current cash flow. By contrast, Intel is
bleeding and can only do so for about six months before a change in strategy is required."

Comparative evaluations of INTC's and AMD's q2 earnings should fill in any gaps in the foregoing overview!!!
