Such a period would drive away speculation, ruin discounters dependent on turnover, disenchant the retirement obsessed public, and take the stock market through a period of extended boring. Few believe in this scenario. It seems to fit the structural factors in place now though and denies COLLAPSE. I could be reading you wrong but if we are to be the financial base of the world if this happens we have lost our edge entirely. Does boring mean boring as in drudgery or is this one a very deep hole?
