E, MS Works came with my new computer and I do use the calendar. I have it set up so the calendar opens automatically on booting and displays appointments. After I add new appointments I only click the X to close the calendar and it saves the new info automatically without asking stupid questions [like "do you want to save this?"].
I like that. You can also edit pictures and do home publishing. Of course it has a word processor and a spread sheet as well.
