Here are my complacency readings for the Nasdaq and Dow:

Nasdaq: 93.286
Dow: 81.662

The scale is from 0 to 100, and the index is calculated with EOD data.

The Nasdaq Complacency Index was in the 90s also on June 7 and 8. Before that, it was in the 90s May 16 through May 25. May 7 and 8 it was up there, too. On 1/22, the complacency index was at 100.

On April 4, it was at 12.9.

What was it in July 2000, you ask? Well, on July 14, it was at 100. By Aug. 2, it had dropped to 5.

What's it all mean? Maybe nothing. But sometimes, when complacency is high, the Naz turns out to be no so complaisant.
