Herm and Thread,

A question for the more experienced . . .

Recently I bought July 25 calls in Multicare (MUL). This morning a partnership announced they were taking it over at 28/share and the stock opened after a brief delay at 27. The options have yet to trade, and the market makers haven't even moved the bid/ask an hour after opening. Is this normal? Any of you been in this situation? When can I expect the options to open and reflect their true value?

Thanks, Tuck
