Thanks for the lead on the conference. I did listen to the introductory comments by Ray Dirks and the beginning of the REFR presentation.
The material presented by Bob Saxe was essentially the same as that delivered at the recent stockholders meeting which I attended. Obviously, Dirks is impressed by the company and its prospects and that, combined with the profit potential outlined last week in New York is extremely promising and encouraging.
Personally, I have every confidence that the promise of SPD technology will prove itself in the next year or so and I intend to hold on to and perhaps increase my investment in the company in that time. I continue to believe, however, that the critical test will come when the products are available and selling on the open market and the royalties start to roll in. That will be the moment of truth!! ...and profits...and increased stock prices will then come with it.
Until then, the short sellers will continue to play games with the stock and will undoubtedly scare off some of the weaker holders. That is all part of the game, however, so it doesn't really bother me as I know it does not bother you.
So, my position is to simply relax, let the world spin around a few more times and then enjoy the payoff which I am reasonably sure will be coming to all of us who understand the company, the product and the potential.
