You know very well that in a society where abortion was considered murder--all the abortions would be done illegally underground, or by oneself--not by "doctors."
Ah, yes. Exactly the situation that existed before Roe v. Wade. The anti-abortionists forget that it really isn't true that abortions weren't done before that decision. They were- -and a lot more women died as a result of them.
Although I suppose that many of them think that that is as it should be. If you're going to "commit murder" by having an abortion, then you deserve to die.

And I think that the above is an effective counter to Chris's dueling analogy.
