OT: Puck and Shakespear.
In general I do not bother to figure out this or that on personalities on threads like this.
Old custom of anonymous debate, which probably even Shakespear was familiar with, words against words.
The Pukki (Bock in Swedish, kind of goat, feet and all in english) is our Santa Claus (Joulupukki, the big one, YuleDevil, maybe??)
But we have never been very much for that dualistic, good vs evil way of thinking, mostly used for general propaganda when common sense isn't available.
Shakespear had a tough job already in the medieval time, got worse when the feudal system and 2-party systems were invented.

Btw, you might also be intersting in studying the creative task of editorials in contrast to the pure reporting job of news, as well as how dualistic, polarized cultures cannot handle any of that, just turns out to "dog fights" and empty "rhetoric", a sport in who can avoid the most common sense, try to handle anything complex, and avoid this great american concept invention "intellectual honesty". (although IQ and SAT tests fail miserably in testing that capability)
Btw,btw, I'm still confused on your (carranza's) use of the word "you", but confusion is maybe normal?? |
