"Europe is way behind in the promotional war of words"
A very correct observation, europe, expect UK, has never arranged nor participated in world, international angloamerican championship in rhetorics.
Sweden made a try at participating back in 95, with little success.
But I must admire that little intellectual honesty, with a comic twist, one can find here and there, like this tragic comedy in three parts:
- Europe's financial newspapers have admired the chief executive of Qualcomm Inc., Irwin Jacobs
- And another notable U.S.-owned newspaper suggests that..
- In the United States itself, some analysts and technology journalists already are...
another goody, probably also of UK origin
- And Qualcomm is not bluffing. The company is ready to boost its European marketing operation in London. It knows how to deploy former Administration officials as lobbyists, although it has had mixed success in those Asian markets it has targeted so far.
But I'm sure UK and London eventually will solve their problems and dependencies on cheap labour and tax evasion, become a productive member of EMU.
