CLRN - Would appreciate your thoughts on this one as a long. $ 7.23/share, close to 52 week low. VoIP company, plenty of cash (over $ 5/share a/o Mar 31st), minimal debt, what appears to be super quarterly revenue growth, just no recent profitable quarters. CEO & management appear to be conservative in forecasting the future (understandably), but CEO thinks first half of 2002 will show a profit.

Most sales in Asia & Pacific. If they can get some good sales in U.S., they'll be zooming.

Problems: Irwin Jacobs worked a major deal relatively recently through CSFB to obtain about 7.7 % ownership of outstanding shares (just over 3 million shares), trying to persuade management to "increase shareholder value" by merging with or seeking to be acquired by major player. If Jacobs decides to bail, could have devastating effect on stock price. Heavy institutional selling for the last month has been pushing the price down. Customer base is concentrated to 5 major customers, nearly all are Asian companies, so there is some vulnerability if one of those 5 disassociate from CLRN.

I like this one as a value play, despite the risks mentioned above. Just not sure I want to wait to see if it breaks below $ 6.75 or jump in at low 7's. Any advice/insights you can provide would be appreciated.
