ACTV adds David Reese to CEO post

NEW YORK, June 25 (Reuters) - ACTV Inc. (NasdaqNM:IATV - news), a provider of interactive digital media, on Monday said it named its president, David Reese, to the additional post of chief executive officer, succeeding William Samuels, who will continue as chairman.

Reese, 45 joined the company in 1988 and Samuels, 58, has served as chairman and CEO since 1994.

``David Reese has been my partner for 12 years and he is the right man at the right time to lead ACTV,'' Samuels said in a statement. ``He is an astute operating executive who has forged partnerships with key players throughout our industry.''

Shares of New York-based ACTV closed at $2.85 on Friday on Nasdaq, near the 52-week low of $2.22."
