08:45 ET Merrill on Semi Equip : Merrill Lynch says that due to very weak utilization rates in fabs, pushouts are likely to occur from major IC companies that could allow orders to continue to decline on average for several more qtrs; a material recovery in orders could be pushed out to the first half of 2002, and stocks could therefore lack a catalyst for 3-6 more months.
