Electro Scientific Industries (ESI) pulled in multiple purchase orders from WED, of Plymouth, England, for ScribeRead wafer identification systems. More than 40 systems were delivered this year for installation in wafer sorting systems around the world. WED was recently awarded the contract to provide Microsorter automated wafer sorting systems to a large semiconductor manufacturing facility in Korea. WED has installed wafer handling systems with ESI's ScribeRead in Europe, the U.S. and Asia. This isn't really new news although I just got it from EE Times. I thought it was interesting they said 40 systems were delivered this year. I don't know how many subscribers read Infrastructure. It is getting more and more exposure from CMP. Mark
