First American Scientific Corp (FASC-OTC, BB) - KDS - 250 Heavy Duty model completes first production run of zeolite for Zeo-Tech Enviro Corp First American Scientific Corp (FASC-OTC, BB)

VANCOUVER, June 25 /PRNewswire/ - Brian Nichols, President of FASC, is pleased to announce the completion of its new high powered KDS - 250 hp machine and the overwhelming success of its first full scale production level run through the newly designed equipment. Using material supplied from Zeo- Tech Enviro Corp, the KDS - 250 cut through 10 tons of moisture laden zeolite at a rate of 2.5 tons per hour without interruption. The raw zeolite containing 64 % moisture was input through the KDS - 250 and reduced it to a fine, dry, talcum-like powder of less than -350 mesh and less than 10 % moisture in about 4 hours.

According to Dave Kepkay, Zeo-Tech's VP of Operations, "the results were phenomenal and much better than expected for such a wet feedstock. The material consistency exceeded my initial expectations and the throughput will satisfy commercial end user demands. Several large studies have indicated a growing market demand for this micronized product which forms the basis for lightweight zeolite concrete (LZC) supplied by Zeo-Tech.

Also, these tests confirmed the equipment's ability to act as a dryer of high moisture laden materials, a characteristic that will be very valuable in the processing of chicken waste and hog fuel. The equipment maintained an ideal internal temperature of 150 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the run, indicating it will easily kill pathogens, but not nutrients when processing chicken and animal waste.
