The one time I have heard of operators intenional pushing wells hard
was last winter in California. Royale Energy took some calculated risks with some of
their wells when the price was over $12.00 / mcf.

This was done on a selective basis, I beleive, with careful consideration of risk/reward.

Jim_P - a question-
The flip side of this : What percentage of wells can be cut back if the price is too low ?

Does production then stay stuck at the lower value ?
