That is unfortunate. Barrick's goal has been and will continue to be, commoditize gold. As a low cost producer, they will continue with their derivative operations in cooperation with the bullion banks. The synergy of producers and bankers will continue to advance the goals of the worlds central banks, to maintain the surpremacy of the worlds currencies regardless of how much their value is depreciated. You had gold, you now have a regulated commodity.
